The Historical Boston!

Updated: Sep 15, 2024

I loved all the history in Boston. (written by Patrick) I learned so much about the US revolution. In Boston there was what is called The Freedom Trail with landmarks along the way. Anything from old ships to Paul Revere’s house! On the way we learned how the original Declaration of Independence was printed and how old hot chocolate was made. We also did a Boston Tea Party tour where all of the tour guides were in period clothing.

Just walking through Boston was amazing. Unlike Europe, there was a lot of brick in the old buildings. Statues and memorials were everywhere about all different kinds of stuff.

My favorite thing in Boston was an Asian restaurant we went to where the chef cooked right in front of you. The cook did crazy things like catching a bunch of oil on fire with like 2 foot flames and making an “onion volcano”: catching oil on fire inside of a hollow mountain made of an onion. He also flung pieces of veggies at us to try to get us to catch it in our mouths.
