“Are we going to walk all the way to Switzerland?”

Little Gretl asks in “The Sound of Music.” Nope. But we’re going to ski to Switzerland! Ischgl is located right on the boarder between Austria and Switzerland and more widely known as Ischgl (Austria)/ Samnaun (Switzerland). How cool is it that you can take a chairlift up to the top of the mountain in one country, and then ski down into another one for lunch if you like? We didn’t even need a passport!
