A return to Jasper

We spent a quiet week at the Jasper County hunting lodge before welcoming family in for the President’s day weekend. The boys and their cousins fished, rode 4 wheelers, cut new trails, played ping pong, and explored the woods. They are fast friends with their cousins and as they get older, it’s really fun to see them entertain themselves all on their own. Jasper is a special place for all of us. Where memories are made for sure.

We cooked the family traditional Austrian Weinerschnitzel and krauter salat for dinner one night that turned out really great considering we are Americans and we’ve never made it before. A little taste of our home across the ocean.
